WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
My Process
I have 13+ years of experience in providing speech therapy for kids. My simple process ensures each child is evaluated thoroughly and their treatment plan is customized to their specific needs.
Step: 1
First, we will start out with a free 15-minute phone consultation, discussing your child and your concerns. This helps in determining if the child would benefit from a speech-language or feeding evaluation. We will then schedule an Evaluation.
Step: 2
During this evaluation we will meet with you and your child, complete a thorough review of case history, standardized testing, questionnaires and clinical observations.
Step: 3
Once the evaluation is complete, we will discuss the Treatment Plan which includes results and recommendations. I will also answer any questions/concerns during this time. After that, we will schedule a time for therapy sessions.
Step: 4
Therapy sessions are designed around client specific needs. Therapy can be provided in-home or any other mutually convenient location. Virtual sessions are also available upon request.
Step: 5
Communication is important throughout the therapeutic process and I am always here to answer questions or concerns during therapy sessions, phone calls or email.
Step: 6
Lastly, I will collaborate with other key members of the child’s care team. I may also refer out to specialists as medically necessary.

Financial Information
Bloom Speech Therapy is a private pay clinic, but can provide documentation to submit for insurance reimbursement upon request.
- Bloom Speech Therapy is a private pay clinic. Payment is due at the time of service. We accept cash, check, debit or credit card payments.
- Pay as you go: pay each session prior to treatment at the time of services.
- Pre-payment discount: We offer families a discount for prepayment of 4+ sessions on or before the first treatment session.
- Bloom Speech Therapy does not belong to any insurance networks, we are a private pay clinic. However, upon request we can provide you with a SuperBill that you can submit to your insurance company for any reimbursement you may be entitled to based on your coverage.
- Most families that have out-of-network benefits are likely to receive partial reimbursement from your insurance company. To find out if you are eligible prior to beginning your treatment, call your insurance provider and ask:
- What are my benefits for out-of-network speech-language therapy services? Evaluation and treatment? What are my benefits for our-of-network speech therapy services for a feeding evaluation and treatment?
- What is my out-of-network deductible?
- How much of my deductible has already been met?
- How many visits are allowed per calendar year?
- What percentage of the fee per session is covered based on usual and customary charges?
- Is prior authorization required?
- Another option for payment is checking with your employer to see if they offer a “flex plan”. If they do, this means that you can elect to put away funds to pay for treatment with tax-free dollars, providing substantial savings.
